Twilight rolled recklessly among the cold sheets. She hated having to saying goodbye to her friends but more predominantly, she hated not knowing where they were. Her groveling would have persisted were it not for Applejack suddenly next to the bed wearing a worried look.

"I know it's hard 'n all, but you can't let go just yet. Ponies need ya... I need ya."

Twilight Sparkle could do nothing but stare into her friend's eyes, as her own began to glaze over.

"Applejack- I; tell me that they're gonna be okay."

The farm pony lifted a hoof to the edge of the bed.

"I can't."

Twilight was a bit shocked at the seemingly cold response, yet remained silent.

"What I can tell ya, 'cuz I know, is that our friend has a way with animals hearts', and I reckon that'll get her out of almost any debacle; and if it don't, I know she's with the greatest guardian a pony could ever ask for, who's ready to stand for the light. I know that we've got a friend that'll go 'n make ponies smile in just about any grim situation; which in these times- can't do no harm. I know that we couldn't have a stronger, more dependable group of friends. And that's the honest truth."

The Element of Magic finally broke, and through tears and soft cries, met her friend in an embrace she hoped would last forever.
